| July 7, 2003 - A large tree on 161 (just east of High) fell on the wires which danced on the street burning huge holes in the lawn and pavement. Just when Blair thought he was done with the chainsaw, we awoke to another limb down in front of the garage. Luckily no damage to the vehicles.
The bubbled and baked pavement was beautiful close up (below). |

| All circuits were blown but amazingly we had power restored in the early morning. The tree above went in the second gust early this morning. It's at Hartford and Stafford. 161 was closed to traffic for a couple of days.
